Return to Work Programme

Our Return to Work Programme is a pilot initiative, funded by Screen Ireland’s Screen Stakeholders funding, that helped experienced film and TV workers who paused their careers due to caring responsibilities to re-enter the screen industry.

Raising Films Ireland provided 1:1 support, tailored training, paid placements, and flexible pathways back into the industry.

The programme created a community of returners through cross industry engagement on a nationwide scale, returned a number of screen workers to the industry directly and created a database of industry workers who have found their way back to roles through consistent engagement and support from Raising Films Ireland. That community still thrives and the Return to Work Programme was the first step in our flexible working initiative which has led to our Flexible Working Programme.
